2021 Mothers’ Day

In what has become a custom at the HDWBC, our members celebrated Mothers’ Day with a “special” morning tea, organised by our Social Club.  Of course, there were lots of raffle prizes to be won, plus the usual winners/runners-up prizes and even our visiting pennant teams joined in the celebrations.

2021 Club Major Singles Championship

In a repeat of the 2020 final, Elizabeth Leahy played Diane Trovato to determine the 2021 Champion.  It was a hard fought game, of which the score does not indicate the quality of the bowls played. It was Elizabeth’s turn to shine and win the trophy from Diane who won in 2020.  Congratulations Elizabeth!
